Seeing as I am ever-so-slowly working my way through the archives, I thought I might make S2B2 (or others, once I’ve exhausted those) story recs every 2nd Saucy Sunday. We’ll see how it works out, but for now, here’s the Zombie Pick ‘n’ Mix.
Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, there’s more than one story involving shambling corpses of one kind of another lurking around the S2B2 archives. (I’m sure there are more I just haven’t found yet.) More surprising than that, though, is the fact that I’ve actually read the ones I chanced across, considering that the undead terrify me. But I digress.
Running the gamut from zombie apocalypse/shoujo-esque love story mash-ups, almost Buffy the Vampire Slayer style small town antics, the ultra serious, and the outrageous but comedic, the following four are all entertaining in their own right. Even if (like me) you might find yourself frozen to your seat half way through, hoping beyond hope that the protagonists don’t become either zombie chow or get infected themselves.
